Your jewellery is with you for life. Your jeweller should be too. Every piece purchased from Daniella comes with specific, written care commitments, not vague goodwill, because looking after the piece is part of making it.
What’s included, exactly
Free cleaning and inspection, for life
Every piece purchased from us can come back for professional cleaning and inspection at any time, free. We recommend a check every six months so settings stay secure.
Free resizing in the first 90 days
If your ring doesn’t fit, bring it back within 90 days and we’ll resize it free. (Full eternity rings, with diamonds set all the way around, are the one exclusion.)
Free small-stone replacement, for life
If a stone of 0.10ct or under goes missing from jewellery we made, we replace it at no charge. The one condition: keep up the free six-monthly inspections, so wear is caught before stones are lost.
A guarantee that means something
Our guarantee covers any defect caused by faulty materials or workmanship. It doesn’t cover general wear and tear, accident, neglect or misuse, and we’ll always tell you honestly which is which.
Buying a certified diamond? Every certified diamond we sell comes with its independent GIA Laboratory certificate at no charge, and a 30-day return policy sits behind every ready-made purchase. Details on the piece that matters to you, before you commit: just ask us.
After-sales questions
Do I need an appointment for after-sales service?
Contact us first to make arrangements, in most cases we can provide same-day service if you book a time to visit the studio in the Dymocks Building.
What if I can’t get to the Sydney studio?
Send the piece back to us and we’ll look after it the same way. You only cover the shipping and insurance costs.
Does after-sales care apply to jewellery you didn’t make?
These commitments apply to jewellery purchased from Daniella. For everything else, our workshop still looks after you, see jewellery repairs for assessment, resizing and restoration of any piece, wherever it came from.
Why the six-monthly inspections?
Because claws wear invisibly and stones are lost suddenly. A two-minute check under the microscope twice a year is how small wear stays a free fix instead of a lost diamond.
