Designed and made by the people you meet

Designed with Danielle. Made and repaired by Bobby.

Danielle listens, advises and develops the design. Bobby examines, makes, repairs, sets and finishes at the bench nearby. They work side by side, so design decisions remain practical and questions reach the person responsible.

  • Fewer misunderstandings between design and making
  • Practical decisions for comfort and everyday wear
  • Direct accountability from first conversation to collection
  • One studio to return to for long-term care

Before and after: an heirloom old-cut diamond re-set into a black diamond halo engagement ring

Keep the meaning. Change what no longer fits.

Keep the soul. Change the setting.

Inherited and sentimental jewellery can often be restored, redesigned or incorporated into something new. Before suggesting a design, we assess the condition of each stone, the metal, engravings and any details you want to preserve.

Old gold is not always suitable for direct reuse. If the alloy is brittle or contaminated, we will explain why and show you alternatives that protect the result without losing the story.

Discuss a Remodelling Project

Your jewellery does not need to return to the place that sold it.

When a piece matters, you want it handled by someone accountable.

Pieces bought online, overseas, from a major brand or another jeweller are welcome. Every repair is assessed before work begins, with the risks, price and likely result explained clearly.

Before you hand it over

Nervous about leaving a precious piece with someone? That’s completely normal.

We inspect the piece with you, explain the risks and record what has been entrusted to the studio before any approved work begins.

Second opinions

If another jeweller said no, got it wrong, or left you unsure, ask us.

Bring the piece in. You will receive a practical assessment and an honest answer, including when the safest choice is not to proceed.

The difference is what happens after you say yes.

What you won’t get here

No anonymous hand-offs, vague recommendations or pressure to commit. Working directly with a designer and jeweller keeps responsibility visible.

Guidance
Advice shaped around your priorities, not a wall of inventory.
Accountability
You know who is assessing, designing and caring for your piece.
Technical care
Wearability, stone security and future maintenance are considered early.
Aftercare
The relationship continues after collection, with one studio to return to.

Questions we’re often asked

Do I need an appointment?

An appointment is best for consultations, detailed repair assessments and remodelling conversations because it gives Danielle or Bobby time to sit with you. You can still call the studio first if you are unsure what to book.

Can you repair jewellery purchased elsewhere?

Yes. We regularly assess and repair jewellery bought online, overseas, from major brands and from other jewellers. The piece is inspected before any quote or recommendation is made.

Do you work with lab-grown and natural diamonds?

Yes. Both can be beautiful choices. We explain the differences in price, rarity, resale expectations and personal preference without steering you towards one answer.

Can you reuse my existing gold?

Sometimes. Old gold must be assessed for alloy, brittleness, contamination and the needs of the new design. If direct reuse is not technically responsible, we will explain the safer options.

Can you resize an eternity ring?

Some eternity rings can be resized, while others cannot be altered safely without rebuilding part of the ring. Bobby needs to inspect the setting, stones and amount of change required before advising you.

How long does a custom ring take?

Timing depends on the stone search, approvals and complexity of the design. You will receive a realistic timeframe after the first consultation, with approval points before making begins.

Can you work within a fixed budget?

Yes. A clear budget helps us narrow the decisions that genuinely affect appearance, durability and value. You will not be pressured to spend beyond it.

How is my jewellery looked after while it is with you?

Jewellery accepted into the studio is recorded with you at handover. We explain the assessment, storage and collection process before you leave the piece with us.

Can you restore antique jewellery?

Yes, where the condition allows it. Antique pieces are inspected under magnification so we can distinguish necessary structural work from details and patina worth preserving.

Do you provide a quote before beginning a repair?

Yes. Every repair is assessed first. We explain the work, risks, likely result, price and timeframe before asking you to approve it.

Start with a conversation, not a commitment.
