Engagement ring styles
Solitaire engagement rings
One stone, held up to the light. The solitaire endures because it hides nothing, which is exactly why the details matter: the cut of the diamond, the line of the band, the set of the claws. Designed with you, made in-house in the Sydney CBD.
What makes a solitaire right
The cut carries everything
With one stone doing all the talking, cut quality is the whole game. We protect it first and show you why on real diamonds, side by side.
Four claws or six
Four claws show more diamond; six hold more securely and read more classic. We’ll show you both on your stone, not a stock photo.
The band sets the tone
Knife-edge, rounded, tapered or straight, in yellow gold, rose gold, white gold or platinum. Small profile choices change the whole character.
The details nobody else sees
A hand-finished basket, a hidden accent stone, her birthstone under the setting. Solitaires reward the quiet touches.
Set by hand, claw by claw
A solitaire lives or dies on its setting. Bobby sets every centre stone by hand under the microscope, checking each claw before the ring leaves the bench, because the stone that matters most deserves more than a production line.

Solitaire questions
How much does a custom solitaire engagement ring cost?
Solitaires start from around $4,000, with the diamond driving most of the price. Because the setting is simpler than a halo or pavé design, more of the budget goes into the stone itself.
Which diamond shape suits a solitaire?
All of them, which is the appeal. Round brilliants are the classic; ovals and pears elongate the finger; emerald cuts read architectural. The setting is designed around the stone you choose, not the other way around.
Is a solitaire too plain?
A well-cut diamond on a well-made band is the least plain thing we make. But if you want more, a solitaire takes detail beautifully: a pavé band, a hidden halo, engraving. We design to the person, not the trend.
Can the setting be changed later?
Yes. A solitaire is the easiest style to remodel down the track: the centre stone can move into a new setting while keeping everything it means. Many of our remodelling clients started with a solitaire.
